Linda C. McRae of Hermiston passed away on Sept. 16, 2017 in Hermiston at the age of 68.
She was born on May 10, 1949 in Pendleton to Hubert and Mary LaRue Clark Senn.
She was raised in Irrigon and graduated from Riverside High School in Boardman in 1967. She attended Blue Mountain Community College, taking business class for two years. She was united in marriage to James Robert “Bob” McRae on Sept. 7, 1968 in Irrigon. They lived in Corvallis, Concrete, Wash., Superior, Mont., and again in Corvallis before settling in Eureka, Calif. for 30 years. Linda was a graphic designer at Humboldt State University in Native American Studies for many years. They moved to Hermiston in 2007, where they have lived since. Linda enjoyed gardening, flowers, bowling, her dogs and traveling. She was a loving wife, mom, grandma, sister, aunt and friend who thrived on taking care of everyone.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Bob McRae, Hermiston; daughter, Kristina McRae, Connell, Wash.; brothers, Cloyd (Paula) Senn, Elkton, Md. and Dallas Senn, Hermiston; sisters, Gloria (Bill) Miller, Terri Linnell, and Stacy (Steve) Meyer, all of Hermiston; in-laws, Helen and Harry Noble, and Carole Steagall; grandchildren, Alyssa, Dalton and Jayden; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Mary LaRue Clark Senn.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, Sept. 22, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Burns Mortuary Chapel, Hermiston.
Burial will follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Irrigon.
