The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office (UCSO) is attempting to locate a Hermiston man who is considered possibly suicidal and endangered.
On Sunday, at approximately 1 p.m. the sheriff’s office responded to the area near the nature trails just north of Third Street and Scapplehorn Road along the Columbia River in Umatilla. A citizen who was picking blackberries had found a stack of clothing, a cell phone and a wallet with ID belonging to Jason Edward Moore, 45, of Hermiston. A suicidal note was also discovered among the items.
