Sherry Kay Hendrix of Hermiston passed away in Richland, Wash. on Sept. 6, 2022 at the age of 60.
She was born on July 13, 1962 in Decatur, Ill. to John William and Ruth Ann Daniels Conner.
As a child, Sherry moved with her family to Sand Springs, Okla. where she grew up, attended school and graduated from high school. Her adventurous spirit took her as an adult throughout Oklahoma and Wisconsin, and she eventually made Oregon her home. She had resided in Hermiston for the past five years.
Sherry enjoyed playing Skip-Bo with her best friend and doing all kinds of crafts. She loved spending time with her daughters, and her grandchildren were her whole life. Family was everything to her.
She is survived by a son, Jason; four daughters, Sara, Maggie, Felecia and Janet; 12 grandchildren, whom she adored; sisters, Christina and Diane; brothers, David W. and Ricky; and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, John and David C.; and her grandmother, Thelma.
A private family celebration of life will be held.
