Shirley Ann Hutchison of Hermiston passed away on Jan. 14, 2019 in Walla Walla, Wash. at the age of 80.
She was born on April 19, 1938 in Fort Indiantown Gap, Pa. to Erwin and Marjorie Knarr Letak.
Shirley lived in Niagara Falls during her childhood. She later moved to Southern California where she lived until the mid-1960s. She lived in Elgin and La Grande from the mid-1960s until moving to Hermiston in the mid-1970s.
Shirley married James Hutchison in Idaho in 1966. The couple later divorced.
Shirley enjoyed crocheting, watching movies, reading and collecting glassware.
She is survived by her daughter, Erin (Jerry) White-Fenley; son, Michael Hutchison; sister, Barbara Rufty; grandchildren, Spencer, Dillon, Kevin, Doug, Jason and Daniel; several great grandchildren; and nieces, Karen and Shelby.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019 at the Burns Mortuary Chapel, 685 W. Hermiston Ave.
Memorial donations can be made to Burns Mortuary of Hermiston to help defray final costs.
