Calico Bones is returning to Morrow County to perform during Music in the Parks.
A sister duo, Madison and Mckenzie Lindsey grew up in Wallowa County. They formed the musical act in 2016, playing folk/Americana originals and covers from multiple eras. They play throughout the region, including during the Irrigon Watermelon Festival’s recent 40th anniversary celebration.
The show is Monday, Aug. 12, 7 p.m. at Boardman Marina Park, 1 NE Marine Drive. Bring a picnic and a lawn chair and enjoy the free music. Also, the Boardman Farmers Market runs from 5-8 p.m. at the park.
The final concert for the 2024 summer season is Aug. 19 with One Trick Pony — featuring the songs of Paul Simon and folk duo Simon & Garfunkel — at Irrigon Marina Park. For more information, search www.facebook.com/boardman-irrigon.
