The Oregon Firearms Federation released their 2014 Voters Guide, awarding Smith an “A” rating. In addition, Smith also received an “A+” rating and endorsement from the National Rifle Association. The National Rifle Association awards candidate ratings from A+ through F.
“I am proud to have received the endorsement of the NRA,” said Smith. “For seven consecutive terms I have been successful in defeating legislation attacking our Second Amendment Rights. I will continue this fight because the Second Amendment is an important issue to me.”
