Altrusa International of Hermiston has responded to the needs of the hungry this year by preparing and presenting frozen taco soup and chicken rice soup to Desert Rose Ministries of Hermiston.
The group delivered over 50 bags of soup in January, and this month Jason Estle of Desert Rose Ministries welcomed 50 more bags of frozen taco soup along with navy bean and ham soup.
This was a Community Service Committee project of the club and was fully funded by a grant of $250 from Thrivent Financial.
