A single-vehicle accident on Interstate 84 resulted in the death of a Stanfield resident on Friday.
Oregon State Police troopers and emergency personnel responded around 2:19 p.m. to a single-vehicle crash near milepost 291 in Baker County. According to the OSP, a 2019 Nissan Rogue SUV, operated by Heydi Yajaira Sandoval, 31, was westbound when it left the roadway, impacted a metal snow fence and rolled.
Sandoval, who was not wearing a seatbelt, suffered fatal injuries.
