The Stanfield Secondary School National Honor Society has the perfect way to help high school students from throughout the region dress up for formal events — and they need help from the community.

The student group is hosting a Formal Dress Exchange. People are invited to donate new or gently used formal dresses, men’s suits and sports coats, men’s and women’s shoes and accessories, including jewelry, ties and suspenders. Donations can be dropped off at the high school, 1120 N. Main St.

The exchange dates are Sept. 13, noon to 6 p.m.; and Sept. 14, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is open to all area high school students. To obtain formalwear, bring an item of clothing to exchange or donate a nonperishable food item. For questions, call/text Sarah Ganvoa at 541-571-4857.
