A Stanfield teenager died Monday from injuries suffered in a two-vehicle crash about 20 miles west of Walla Walla on Friday.
Raychel Campana, 17, of Stanfield, died Monday morning at Kadlec Medical Center, according to the Washington State Patrol. The accident happened when Kasey Robert Parsons, 25, of Walla Walla, crossed the center line while driving westbound on State Road 12 and struck Campana’s vehicle head on, according to the WSP.
A Walla Walla passenger in Campana’s vehicle was injured in the crash and was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital, as was Parsons, according to the WSP.
The WSP said it is currently not known if alcohol or drugs were involved in the crash.
All people involved in the crash were wearing seat belts, said troopers.
