Antonio E. Enriquez of Stanfield passed away on Oct. 6, 2017 at the age of 67 with his family at his side.
He was born on July 14, 1950 in Juchipila, Zacatecas, Mexico to Guadalupe and Rogelia Esparza Enriquez.
He lived in Juchipila throughout his childhood, where he received his education. He traveled extensively as a young man, working at various farms. He came to Eastern Oregon in the early 1970s, where he met Joanne Keller. The couple were united in marriage in Hermiston in 1975. He had resided in the Stanfield area since 1980.
Antonio enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, doing mechanical work and being in the outdoors.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne; children, Anthony Enriquez, Suzanna Torres and Guadalupe Enriquez; brothers, Alberto, Albino and Jesus Enriquez; sister, Maria; and seven grandchildren.
