She was born Sept. 16, 1938 in San Isidro, Leyte Island, The Philippines to Gregorio and Crisanta (Pino) Villabane. She was one of 13 children. She married Charles Watson and had two children, Erwin Watson and Helen Page. She lived in Maupin where she worked in The Dalles for cherry growers for many years. Charles died in 2001 and Cornelia moved to Pahrump, Nev., where she married Charles Cruse. She moved to Stanfield in September 2014 to be closer to family battling lung cancer.
She is survived by son, Erwin (Lorry) Watson of Stanfield; and daughter, Helen (Scott) Page of Pasco, Wash.; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Charles Watson and Charles Cruse.
At her request, there will be no services held. Disposition was by cremation.
