Melvin Aldin “Mel” Salverson, of Stanfield, died on Nov. 12, 2014 at Kadlec Regional Medical Center, Richland, Wash., at the age of 60.
He was born on Jan. 8, 1954 in Blackfoot, Idaho.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1035 SE 9th St., Hermiston. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. in the relief society room.
