He was born on July 8, 1982 in Boise, Idaho to Phillip and Robbin Reed Ferguison. Mike was raised in Boise, Idaho and Ione. He graduated from Ione High School in the class of 2000. Mike went to work for Union Pacific Railroad in 2006 and was currently working as a Yardmaster at Hinkle. Mike was united in marriage to Sara Fisher on June 27, 2015 at Fort Stevens State Park on the North Oregon Coast. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and most of all cherished time with his boys.
He is survived by his wife: Sara Ferguison, Stanfield, OR; sons: Zachary A. and Trevor P. Ferguison both of Heppner, OR; parents: Phillip & Chris Ferguison, Lexington, OR and Robbin Ferguison & Curtis Potter, Pendleton, OR; brother: John Ferguison, Lexington, OR; sister: Trisha Deakins, Missouri; grandparents: Leon and Dorene Reed, Leedey, OK; several nieces and nephews.
Mike was preceded in death by a sister, Pamela Ferguison.
A celebration of life potluck gathering will be held on Friday, February 19, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the Oregon National Guard Armory, 900 SE Columbia Dr., Hermiston, OR 97838
