State Highways, Offices Closed Due to Weather

The Department of Transportation has closed down Interstate 84 to eastbound travelers due to “extreme weather conditions” and Department of Motor Vehicle offices along Interstate 84, including the office in Hermiston, have been closed for Wednesday due to hazardous road conditions.

ODOT has closed I-84 seven miles east of Pendleton from milepost 216 to milepost 304. Road conditions remain hazardous along I-84 corridor from Gorge eastward, according to ODOT.

Other DMV offices closed for the day include Pendleton, The Dalles, Milton-Freewater, La Grande, Hood River and Enterprise. All state offices in Umatilla and Morrow County have been closed for the day.
