Stephen E. “Steve” McKenzie passed away on April 20, 2021 in Umatilla at the age of 58.
Steve was born on July 1, 1962 in Carmichael, Calif., graduating from Riverside High School in Boardman. He worked in all aspects of the power generation business, which took him to numerous locations. Steve worked in Indonesia for seven years, where he met his wife, Agustinah and her two daughters and where his daughter, Christina was born. Since 2014, Steve was shift supervisor at Rocky Mountain Colby Pipe in Pendleton.
Throughout his life, Steve always made friends easily. He was an accomplished athlete, especially in baseball, and his love of sports made him a very avid sports fan.
Steve is survived by his wife, Agustinah; daughter, Christina and stepdaughters, Dwi and Sri; brothers, Marv Jr. and Don; along with nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marv Sr. and his mother, Pat.
A service will be arranged at a later date when family and friends will be able to attend.
