Good news for those of us who love spending time outdoors – the weather forecast is calling for sunny skies and temperatures in the low 70s during the weekend in the Hermiston area.
Between now and then, however, we’re likely to get some rain and wind. The National Weather Service is calling for a 60-percent chance of rain Thursday afternoon with high temperatures in the low 60s with winds up to 14 mph.
And while the rain should be gone by Friday, the winds will pick up with speeds reaching a steady 25 mph with gusts up to 36 mph.
But come Saturday, the rain and wind will be behind us with nothing but clear skies and sunshine through the weekend.
