Oregon Department of Transportation survey crews will be working along Emigrant and Frazier Avenues in Pendleton over the next several months collecting data for a future ADA ramp upgrade project.

Some sporadic activities may occur through the end of December, with the bulk of the survey work gearing up early January. Travelers, local residents and business owners along the route between SE Ninth Street and SW Ninth Street can expect minor traffic delays as crews in orange vests take measurements and collect data through the months of January, February and March. Information collected will be used to design the ADA ramp upgrade project in 2017, with construction anticipated in 2018 or later.

“We will keep traffic disruptions to a minimum and ask motorists to be extra mindful of crews working along the side of the roadway,” said ODOT Survey Crew Chief Rusty Mink.

Questions about the work can be directed to ODOT Survey Unit Lead Surveyor Bret Elithorp at 541-963-1361, or by email at Bret.Elithorp@odot.state.or.us.
