Susan I. Walchli-Hunter of Hermiston died on Feb. 6, 2019 in Portland at the age of 58.
She was born on Feb. 11, 1960 in Hermiston to George and Irene Dyer Walchli.
Susan was raised and attended school in Hermiston. She moved to Harpster, Idaho in 1994, where she raised her family. Susan returned to Hermiston in 2016, where she had lived since.
She enjoyed sewing, jigsaw puzzles, reading, coloring, time with her children, raising animals and making flower arrangements. Susan was a member of the Church of God.
She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth and Samantha Walchli, both of Hermiston, Amanda Hunter, Kooskia, Idaho, Victoria Hunter, Lewiston, Idaho, Charlene (Chase) Nuxoll, Cottonwood, Idaho and Dominique Hunter, Salem; son, Travis Hunter, Kooskia, Idaho; mother, Irene Walchli, Hermiston; sister, Maria Walchli, Hermiston; brothers, Bill and James Walchli, both of Hermiston, Robert Walchli, West Virginia, and Paul Walchli, Hermiston; grandchildren, Massey, Cash, Hesston, Denika and Dakota; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Susan was preceded in death by her father, George Walchli.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2019 at 5 p.m. at Burns Mortuary Chapel, Hermiston.
