Mary “Susie” Edes of Umatilla died on May 22, 2022 Hermiston at the age of 67.
She was born on July 9, 1954 in Whittier, Calif.
She graduated from Eagle Point High School in Eagle Point. She worked various jobs, but her favorite was being a mother to her two children, Anne and Kelly. Being a wife of a military husband, she moved around a lot – Arizona, California, Connecticut and Washington – before finally settling in Oregon. She later married Robert Edes in Umatilla. Susie retired from the Walmart Distribution Center.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; two children, Anne and Kelly; along with five grandchildren; mother, Erline Owen; and brother, Bobby Wayne.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 10 a.m. at the Hermiston Cemetery.
A celebration of life potluck gathering will follow at Spillway Park, Umatilla. Please bring your favorite dish, a lawn chair and lots of stories of Susie to share.
