Many public-facing businesses are finding creative ways to remain open and serve their customers during these days of social distancing, and Tallman Farm in Boardman is no exception when it comes to this year’s Dahlia Day event.
The vendors, the library, activities for the kids, agriculture education and gardening classes have been shelved, but dahlia lovers can still order tubers – about $3 each – during Drive-Through Dahlia Days, now through April 30.
Call in orders to The Farmer’s Cup at 541-514-1601 or Cheryl Tallman at 541-248-9031, and pick them up at the coffee shop drive-through, 460 Laurel Lane Road, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
