Tamástslikt Cultural Institute’s outdoor living culture village will present Exploring Our Past on Saturday, Aug. 9.
Visitors to Naami Nishaycht village will learn about burning glass as well as flint and steel, thanks to a local educator and fire starter who will give lessons on different ways to start a fire.
The village, which includes replicas of traditional and prehistoric structures of Plateau Indian people, is open each Saturday through Aug. 30 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
