Tamástslikt Cultural Institute’s outdoor living culture village will present Game Day on Saturday.
Visitors to Naami Nishaycht village will master the atlatl, a tool for survival, with the help of a local educator who will provide instruction on how to throw the spear. Visitors will find out if they would have been good hunters back in the day.
The village, which includes replicas of traditional and prehistoric structures of Plateau Indian people, is open each Saturday through Aug. 30 from 10 a.m to 3 p.m.
