Thelma E. Wynne-Reynolds of Hermiston passed away in Hermiston on June 27, 2023 at the age of 79.
She was born on July 23, 1943 in Merced, Calif. to David and Wilma Wynne Dunlap.
Thelma grew up and attended schools in Merced, Calif. As an adult, she moved to Oregon and lived in the Springfield, Eugene and Veneta areas for several years. She moved to Hermiston in 1993, where she had resided for the past 30 years.
Thelma worked in real estate for a few years. Her passion was in alcohol and drug counseling, which she worked at through the majority of her career. She was actively involved in the Hermiston United Methodist Church, volunteered in the community and rescued many dogs, as well as being an animal advocate.
She is survived by a daughter, Beckie Weltch; son, Wesley Coble; eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren; one sister; and one brother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Reynolds and daughter Debbie, who passed in 2008.
At her request, no services will be planned.
