Thomas Leland Moore of Irrigon passed away on Oct. 15, 2023 in Hermiston at the age of 84.
He was born on Feb. 2, 1939 in Kansas City, Mo.
Known as “Tom,” he loved his family and community with a servant’s heart. He was an engineer by trade and in his spare time helped family and friends with many a home dilemma or project. He demonstrated his love for God by sharing his heart serving others with joy.
Tom is survived by two brothers, Robert Moore and Dave Moore; children, Thomas, Cristi and Susannah from Tri-Cities, Wash.; and stepchildren, Pat, Meghan and Aaron from Oregon, where Tom lived his last 35 years with his late wife and the love of his life, Carol. He was blessed with many adored grandkids and great-grandkids.
Tom’s memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18, 2023 at the Columbia View Community Church, 1230 E. Highway 730, Irrigon.
