Train Derailment Delaying Traffic on Highway 730

A train derailment three miles south of the Washington border is causing traffic delays on Highway 730 near milepost 200, according to the Oregon Department of Transportation.

According to ODOT, no train cars are impacting the roadway, however, recovery operations will result in delays at times. Flaggers are positioned at the derailment site and will continue at the site through the weekend.

ODOT is advising motorists to drive with extra caution and take an alternative route if possible.
