An Oregon Department of Corrections (DOC) adult in custody, Robert Fort, died the evening of Nov. 29.
Fort was incarcerated at Two Rivers Correctional Institution (TRCI) in Umatilla and passed away at the facility. The State Medical Examiner will determine cause of death.
Fort entered DOC custody on Feb. 5, 1991, from Deschutes County with a life sentence. Fort was 63.
TRCI is a multi-custody prison in Umatilla that houses approximately 1,800 adults in custody.
