TruCare Pregnancy Clinic in Hermiston celebrated its new location Thursday afternoon with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Friends, supporters, staff and representatives of the Hermiston Chamber of Commerce scrunched together for a photo and then toured the new building, located at 1155 W. Linda Avenue.
“We love our new space,” said Executive Director Connie Ambrecht. “I want to especially thank Umatilla Electric Cooperative, Shelco Electric and Noland Door Company. They had a big hand in getting this done.”
Chamber Executive Director Val Hoxie wished Ambrecht and her two other staff members well.
“We want to thank you for inviting us and congratulate you on your new location,” Hoxie said. “We look forward to watching your success for years to come.”
TruCare Pregnancy Clinic provides clients with a variety of free services including pregnancy tests, ultrasound, pregnancy support, after-abortion support, adoption referrals, parental training and more.
The new location features a reception room, an advocate room where patients can have private conversations with trained staff, and an ultrasound room.
Ambrecht said the new location is more comfortable and cozier than the former space on S.W. 11th Street.
“It’s about half the size of the old building,” she said. “We’ve trimmed our space, not our services.”
