Interstate 84 eastbound lanes are nearly clear of rock that spilled from a dump trailer traveling near Boardman.
On September 12, 2014 at approximately 2:00 p.m., a truck pulling a belly dump trailer loaded with large rocks was traveling eastbound on Interstate 84 near milepost 165 when the gate opened and rocks spilled onto the freeway around 2 p.m. today. One vehicle was reported damaged.
The Oregon Department of Transportation and the Oregon State Police responded to the scene. ODOT personnel quickly got equipment to the scene and are removing the rocks from the traffic lanes.
