UCo Health has announced that Dr. Deborah Woodbury, MD, has been appointed to the position of health officer beginning Jan. 1, 2025.
Woodbury’s background includes more than 25 years of practicing family medicine. She is currently employed at Pendleton Family Medicine as a full-service family practitioner.
“We are excited to welcome Dr. Woodbury to the UCo Health team,” said UCo Health Director Joseph Fiumara. “Her vision and leadership will be invaluable as we continue to work towards a healthier Umatilla County.”
Woodbury succeeds Dr. Jonathan Hitzman who has served in the position for more than a decade.
In a press release, UCo Health said, “Dr. Hitzman’s commitment to public health has left a lasting impact on our community.”
