Umatilla Electric Cooperative is celebrating National Cooperative Month in October with events and activities.
In appreciation of its members, UEC will provide boxed lunches to drive-up visitors from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. while supplies last at the following UEC offices:
- Tuesday, Oct. 5 – Hermiston Office, 750 W. Elm
- Wednesday, Oct. 6 – Boardman Office, 400 N.E. Eldrige Drive
Visitors also will receive a gift bag that includes an energy efficient kit with an LED lightbulb.

Celebrated nationwide since 1964 during October, National Co-op Month is an annual opportunity to raise awareness of a trusted, proven way to do business and build communities.
UEC joined the cooperative world at its inception in 1937, and has grown to become the largest rural electric cooperative in 10 Western states in terms of power sales.
