Umatilla Electric Posts Unclaimed Capital Credits List

This is a notice of unclaimed capital credits for members on record at Umatilla Electric Cooperative as of Aug. 18, 2015.

Umatilla Electric Cooperative gives notice that capital credit payments are now and have been available since 2011 at the office of the Cooperative at 750 W. Elm Ave., PO Box 1148, Hermiston, OR 97838, to the members named hereunder. Unless the members named or their heirs claim payment no later than Dec. 31, 2015 they will be forfeited to the Cooperative. These unclaimed credits were earned in the years of 1994.

Capital credits are member’s share of the cooperative’s margins for a year in which revenues exceeded expenses. The amount a member is credited is proportionate to the amount received in energy services during the same year. Capital Credits are refunded periodically as approved by the Umatilla Electric Board of Directors.

Umatilla Electric publishes a list of all capital credit checks and notices that were not cashed or returned to its offices as undeliverable mail. This is why it is important to notify the UEC office of your forwarding address when you move or change your address.

If you find your name and would like to claim your refund, call UEC to request your refund at 541-567-6414. Please provide your name, Umatilla Electric member number, current address, and telephone number in your correspondence so you can be contacted promptly. A picture identification may be required before the funds are released.
