Lobby hours at Umatilla Electric Cooperative offices in Hermiston and Boardman have been suspended until further notice due to the coronavirus outbreak.
In following Gov. Kate Brown’s executive order today, “Suspending our lobby hours is a prudent measure to protect the health of our members, employees and communities,” said Robert Echenrode, UEC general manager and CEO. “We will continue to provide timely service with email and phone calls, and through our drive-thru lanes, website, automated phone system, call center and mobile app.”
Although lobby hours are suspended, UEC is staffed and working. To interact with UEC, customers can:
- Call (541) 567-6414 Mondays-Thursdays 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m
- Visit drive-throughs during business hours to speak to a customer service representative
- Email customer.service@umatillaelectric.com
- Communicate online through the SmartHub mobile app or by visiting SmartHub at UmatillaElectric.com
- View a bill, access account history and make payments with the SmartHub app or by visiting SmartHub at UmatillaElectric.com
- Use payment kiosks or drop boxes at both UEC locations
- Call (888) 480-9709 to use the automated pay-by-phone service
- Call (888) 465-5701 day or night to report an outage
- Report an outage through the SmartHub Mobile App or by SmartHub on UmatillaElectric.com
