Umatilla Electric Cooperative is now registering students for the free 2024 Hydromania Summer Science Camp.
The camp is designed for students who have completed the fourth or fifth grades and who would benefit from learning in a hands-on environment.
The camp will focus on science, water, the environment and energy. Hydromania includes hands-on experiments, activities, field trips and interaction with other students.
There will be three two-week camps that run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. The camp dates are as follows:
- Camp 1: Monday, June 17 to Friday, July 28
- Camp 2: Monday, July 8 to Friday, July 19
- Camp 3: Monday, July 22 to Friday, Aug. 2
The camp activities will take place at Sandstone Middle School in Hermiston.
