Umatilla Electric Cooperative will celebrate National Cooperative Month by thanking its members in a series of events in October.
UEC is inviting its members to take part in one or all events in October to enjoy food, ice cream, member gifts, and a chance to win an RTIC cooler and extra fall goodies.
The fun kicks off in the UEC east district as the cooperative celebrates its members in the mountainous region:
- Weston Mountain Event: Thursday, Oct. 10 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Tollgate Crossing Store in Weston.
The next week, UEC will travel to the center of its service territory in Hermiston at Butte Park for a barbecue lunch and sweet ice cream treats.
- Hermiston Event: Thursday, Oct. 17 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Butte Park in Hermiston.
UEC will cross the finish line of its National Cooperative Month festivities on Wednesday, Oct. 23 at the Boardman Marina with another hot dog lunch and sweet treats.
- Boardman Event: Wednesday, Oct. 23 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Boardman Marina Park in Boardman.
