The city of Umatilla Public Works Department is hosting the Sweep into Summer free community cleanup event on Wednesday and Thursday, July 1-2.
Yard debris, felled trees and branches, appliances and household garbage can be brought to the public works shops at 1205 Third St. from 4 to 7 p.m. Roadside pick-up is available if scheduled in advance. Call 541-922-3226 or email esmeralda@umatilla-city.org to arrange for pickup.
