The Umatilla Landing Days is seeking volunteers to serve on its planning committee.
Committee member Karen Hutchinson-Talaski said the group is finding it a challenge to organize the annual event without more volunteers.
“It has come to the point where this event may not happen next year if we do not get more volunteers to help,” she said. “Out committee is getting smaller and smaller and we need volunteers for this year and the future.”
This year’s Landing Days celebration is set for June 27 at Umatilla Marina Park.
