The Umatilla Public Library is hosting a drop-in children’s event this Friday, Feb. 10 to celebrate the birthday of Mo Willems, author of the popular children’s book series, Elephant and Piggie.
The event goes from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Kids can learn how to draw Piggie, Gerald, Pigeon and other characters, and receive a free swag bag filled with resources and a free book. There will also be a drawing for a Pigeon stuffed toy. For more information, call the library at 541-922-5704.
