The Umatilla Police Department and the city of Umatilla will host National Night Out this evening at Village Square Park (beside the library).
National Night Out is a free annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make communities safer, more caring places to live and work.
This year’s event goes from 6 to 9 p.m. and includes food, music, games, activities and giveaways. For more information, call city hall at 541-922-3226.
