The Umatilla Police Department and the Umatilla Cab Co. are teaming up to help residents of Umatilla get their impaired New Year’s Eve guests home safely in the local area, free of charge.
The service is available for Umatilla, Hermiston, Irrigon and Plymouth, Wash. For a pick-up, call the cab company at 541-567-6055 between the hours of 9 p.m. on Dec. 31 and 1 a.m. on Jan. 1.
