Umatilla Parks Department Hosting Family Craft Night on May 28

The Umatilla Parks and Recreation Department is hosting Family Craft Night on Friday, May 28 in Village Square Park. The event is free to attend.

Activities begin at 5:30 p.m. Families will be making patriotic candle votives to honor fallen military members, as well as a paper poppy, the official flower of Memorial Day. The crafts are recommended for kids ages 4 to 12.

All COVID-19 protocols will be followed. In the case of inclement weather, the class will be moved inside to city hall. To register, go to the city’s website. Space is limited.
