Eastern Oregon Correctional Institution (EOCI) in Pendleton and Two Rivers Correctional Institution (TRCI) in Umatilla will be holding a one-day recruiting event on Friday, March 2, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Blue Mountain Community College.
During this event, corrections health service professionals will share information about careers in the medical field within the Department of Corrections (DOC).
Those who come on board at EOCI or TRCI will join a team of 4,500 corrections professionals across the state within DOC. In addition to benefits, DOC provides many opportunities for job rotations, promotions, and continuing professional development.
All attendees will receive assistance with the online application, criminal history background check, reference checks, and a tour of ECOI. A tour of TRCI may be scheduled at a later date.
Those wishing to attend will need to bring valid photo identification (driver’s license, military ID, or passport) and must be licensed by the Oregon Board of Nursing or hold an Oregon Certified Medication Aide certificate.
