The city of Umatilla will celebrate their 156th birthday this weekend, June 22-24, during Umatilla Landing Days at Umatilla Marina Park, 1710 Quincy Ave.
The festivities kick off Friday, 5-11 p.m. and continue on Saturday, 10 a.m.-11 p.m., ending with a Sunday service and light breakfast in the park from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Attractions include a parade, craft and food vendors, raffles and prizes, a beer garden, kids’ games, fireworks, contests, the first annual 3 on 3 basketball tournament, and the second annual soccer tournament. Live music will be performed by Wicked Mary, Nuke Town and Blue Tattoo.
