An Oregon Department of Corrections (DOC) adult in custody, Richard Donald Mortimore, died the morning of March 18.
Mortimore was incarcerated at Two Rivers Correctional Institution (TRCI) in Umatilla and passed away in the infirmary. As with all in-custody deaths, the Oregon State Police have been notified.
Mortimore entered DOC custody on Jan. 16, 2020, Marion County with an earliest release date of Aug. 6, 2029. Mortimore was 73.
TRCI is a multi-custody prison in Umatilla that houses approximately 1,800 adults in custody.
