An Oregon Department of Corrections (DOC) adult in custody, Frank Ali Abdul-Rahmaan, died the afternoon of Sept. 30.
Abdul-Rahmaan was incarcerated at Two Rivers Correctional Institution (TRCI) in Umatilla and passed away at a local hospital while on hospice care.
Abdul-Rahmaan entered DOC custody on June 27, 1986, from Multnomah County with an earliest released date of Sept. 30, 2043. Abdul-Rahmaan was 75.
TRCI is a multi-custody prison in Umatilla that houses approximately 1,800 adults in custody.
Wonder how he died. This happen to my cousin but in Salem. The are looking into it but don’t seem quickly

Why doesn’t DOJ ever release the cause of death, like is done with other citizens of Oregon?
Obviously since he was in Hospice Care he must have had cancer anyhow he was 75 years old with 20 more years to serve in prison it was probably better it’d be passed away
