The Riverside Pirates are off to a rough start to their 2014 football season after falling to Union/Cove, 31-6, on Friday.
The loss drops the Pirates to 0-2 on the year, having been shut out by Irrigon in their season opener, 35-0. Riverside travels to Astoria on Friday to take on the 2-0 Knappa Loggers.
