Umatilla County Veteran Services is hosting a screening of Project 22, a documentary about the cross-country motorcycle journey of two veterans to raise awareness about suicide among veterans.
With 22 veterans committing suicide daily it has become an issue we can no longer ignore, said Sunshine Mason, outreach veteran service officer for Umatilla County.
The screening will be on Wednesday, April 10 from 6:30-8:30 p.m., at the Hermiston High School auditorium.
The event is free of charge and open to everyone.
