U.S. Rep. Greg Walden (R-Hood River) will make the rounds in Eastern Oregon this week, including visits to Boardman and Hermiston.
On Friday, Jan. 22, Walden heads to Morrow County to tour the Boardman Tree Farm. He’ll then visit the site of the new Eastern Oregon Trade and Event Center (EOTEC) in Hermiston. Afterwards, Walden will attend Pendleton’s annual Chamber of Commerce dinner.
Walden will be at the Boardman Tree Farm at 1 p.m. on Friday. At 3:15 p.m., the congressman will tour the EOTEC site.
Walden will also hold town hall meetings in Sherman and Gilliam counties on Friday to give an update on efforts in Congress to reduce federal regulation, as well as legislation recently signed into law to improve education for children and support roads, bridges, and highways.
