The Hermiston Warming Station is gearing up for a new season with a new location and are recruiting volunteers.

The station, which provides a warm place to stay overnight when the temperatures fall below 32 degrees, is located at 1075 S. Highway 395 in Hermiston. The station will operate from Nov. 21 to Feb. 28.

There will be a clean-up day at the station from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 15. Volunteers are asked to bring gloves, cleaning supplies, buckets, brooms, a vacuum or yardwork tools.
