Hermiston’s Bank of America is one of 51 branches in Oregon, Washington, Idaho and New Mexico being acquired by Washington Federal.
The acquisitions will give Washington Federal 236 branches. Along with the Hermiston branch, other nearby Bank of America branches being purchased include Milton-Freewater, La Grande, Ontario, The Dalles, Hood River and Walla Walla.
